Fun-A-Day Dubuque 2013!

The premise is simple: pick a creative project, do it every day in February, then show your work the following month in a big group art show!

Started in 2004 by a group of friends in Philadelphia, Fun-A-Day began as a way to stay creative and motivate each other to make things through the winter. Now in its ninth year, Fun-A-Day has grown from its Philadelphia roots--in 2010 there were 10 Fun-A-Day shows, organized by different art collectives and groups of friends across the country.

This year, Dubuque joins in the fun! This community art project is open to ALL AGES and is FREE for anyone to participate. Let us know what you're planning to do by posting a comment to the wall (or keep it to yourself), and stay tuned for info about Fun-A-Day gatherings throughout the month, as well as the big gallery show in March or April (TBD).

And please, help us spread the word!  Like us on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/funadaydubuque), tell your Grandma, your cousin, your eccentric next-door-neighbor—everyone needs a bit of fun in the winter months!
